About Us
We are English speakers and Spanish speakers, but whatever the language we try to listen more than we talk. We know that everyone we meet is fighting a hard battle, and that kindness and community can help them win it. We believe that each person has a story that informs who they are but does not determine who they can be.
Most of all we love what we do. We are always looking for qualified, passionate people who want to work hard. If that’s you, drop us a line at office@lauriesingerbehavioral.com.

Paying it Forward
We feel privileged to spend our days with individuals who set goals and work hard to achieve them no matter the obstacle. We do our best to pay their inspiration forward by helping others who dream big despite big challenges. We sponsor and participate in area events such as Aut2Run, benefitting the Autism Society of Ventura County, and I Can Shine, which teaches kids and teens of all abilities how to ride a bike. Keep an eye on our blog for news of upcoming events and recaps of past ones.
Jacob’s Run is our annual fun run and fundraiser that honors Jacob Singer, who lost his very brave fight against rhabdomyosarcoma shortly after his second birthday in 1987. To date, through Jacob’s Run and other generous contributions from The Singer family and friends, the event has raised more than $250,000 for Child Life at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The program provides hospitalized children facing life-threatening illnesses with highly trained Child Life assistants and specially designed playrooms so they can focus on their most important work: play.
Jacob’s Run is held each October. You can click the button below for details of past year’s events and to register for updates.
