We had a blast last weekend at the Channel Islands Social Service annual picnic. They had a superhero theme, so Laurie had her Superman costume ready to go when Batman needed some help. She saved him, of course, as Mad Max looked on a bit helplessly. NBD. See her in action in the bottom photo, and with Brandon hanging out at our booth.

While we were just pretending, a real live superhero came by our office this week to be recognized for completing a far more important mission. Meet Nick, our most recent graduate from Laurie Singer Behavioral Services. Nick has worked extremely hard to meet the goals he set, and it has been a privilege for each and every member of his team – Krystal, Jackie, Jessie, Laurie, and his Mom (not pictured) – to see him grow.

He didn’t wear his cape though. He doesn’t need one, as he’s gotten pretty good at flying on his own. Of course we’re behind him every step of the way as he sets new goals and meets new challenges. Congratulations Nick, we’re all so very proud of you!
